Every year hundreds of volunteers arrive in Nepal to volunteer from UK and USA based organizations and end up paying upto $2500 to volunteer for 2 weeks. Unfortunately, only a small portion of that money actually goes to orphanages. The orphanages in Nepal are resource poor, understaffed, and struggle to offer education, accommodation, food and other support to the children. Volunteer Alliance Nepal is trying to change this situation. When you volunteer with us, you pay your fee directly to the orphanage.
